Another question… What if there will be no funds available on the card at the moment when we need to charge the client? Then the only way is going through collection? We would like to avoid it.
What solution/process would you recommend?

Contact American Express, Master Card, Visa, etc, and they will help set you up to take their cards. You pay a fee for each time you accept a cc payment, just to let you know. If a customer doesn’t have enough credit to cover their purchase the card will be declined so you won’t have to chase them, just lose a sale.
