    You need to check your credit report. This could be the makings of identity theft.

    Yes, some cards are pre-activated when sent out. A card can be sent out to you legally for various reasons – someone reports a loss of your card, your card has expired, the type of card you have may not be in business with the company anymore. If this is a card you didn’t know about and did not apply for then you need to speak with the fraud applications department of the credit card co.
