debit should work. try it. I do it all the time.
U can do that if u have a paypal account or u have a visa debit card which is offered by some banks.it means it is a debit card but is visa.so u can use it for online transactions.
as long as debit has a mastercard/visa logo on it, you will need 3/4 digitt number on ack of card regardless so make sure you know where to find that, and make sure you ALWAYS have more than enough funds to buy a product…if i were you id go grab a greendot mastercard, costs 10 buks and and 5 buks everytime you have to reup money, but then you dont have to worry about purchasing from a “scary” site tthat may be untrustworthy and your bank info isnt flying all over the internett, you can pik one up at and cvs /riteaid/walmart/radioshack…and it is worth the couplle extra buks
You can use both, however, you should use a credit card for on line transactions. If something goes wrong credit cards give you a level of protection. You can protest a charge and have it removed if there is a problem. If you use a debit card you are [SOL].
