credit card application
dixiegirl0270 asked:

I am wondering if anyone on here knows how i can find a job doing credit card applications/processing? for instance, if you walk into dillards and want to get a dillards store credit card, you would fill out an application and then the cashier calls in the info, i want to be the person on the other end of the phone. the one who actually processes your application and tells you if your declined or approved. Anyone out there know what I’m talking about? or how i can search for this job?

  1. find out which bank does the processing for the store, and get that job at the bank.

  2. The job title is called underwriting / risk analysis.
Most credit card applications are analyzed by a computer generated scoring system. However they are further analyzed by the underwriting dept. if the person is not accepted right away or the applicant asks for further review.
I know for sure “GE Money Bank” does the credit card applications for JC Penney, Mervyns, and Wal Mart credit cards. I will put in a link below for you.
For target it would be Target National Bank 3901 West 53rd Street Sioux Falls, SD. 57106-4216. They have ads on CareerBuilder.com
Also look for the jobs at one of the sites like careers.com or hotjobs.com under banking and finance.
    Best wishes!
