What is the best credit card for me? I prefer visa but open to anything.
I’m 26 years old, self employed and bringing in about 25k a year. Credit score is fair, 655

    Personally, I think Capitol One, it has been the credit card with least problems. But I think you should shop different credit cards and CAREFULLY read their policies because they are subject to change. I have 3 credit cards and recieved mail from 2 of them that they would raise their interests, it is ridiculous. Just make sure that if you do get one, only make small purchases. Credit cards are a hassle if you spend alot.

    Creditcards.com is a good resource for searching for a credit card. I like Visa or Discover. With new credit card changes some companies are raising interest. If you have a stable income, can afford to pay back your charges, and plan on using credit card wisely then I don’t see any problem. Make sure you don’t have any active collections on your credit report that aren’t marked as paid. Make sure you’re paying your bills on time because when you apply for your credit card they will check your credit to determine if you’re credit worthy.
