But you can turn down the credit card whenever you want.  Just call their customer care/service number up--since they all have customer numbers and say you don&#039;t want the card if it&#039;s in your name.  If they sent it out, they&#039;ll tell you to cut the card when it arrives and they&#039;ll send you a letter stating your account is closed.  Also make sure to request a letter it&#039;s been closed, if they don&#039;t state they&#039;ll send you a confirmation letter, many times they say they&#039;ll close it and they don&#039;t close the accounts.  Always request writing to make sure.</description>
