Potentially you can be traced. Realistically, you won’t be. At the most, they will probably pursue you through the County Court, get a judgement against you and then write it off. To pursue you abroad would just cost too much.

What concerns me though is your attitude to your liability! Why shouldn’t you pay your debt? You say you paid for an Open Uni course on card, presumably to enable you to earn (more) money from your qualification but you don’t want to pay for it?

Why not go a couple of steps further and rob a bank before you go?

believe me pal they can but dont worry too much what can they do put you in county court can they heck,can they apply to have the money deducted from your wages,can they heck,send the bailiffs in, can they heck,can they hassle you by telephoning every day, can they heck what I am trying to tell you they can do fuck all to you.so dont worry the ppl that you owe money to have all the worries not you.apart from anything else they will write it off within 12 months it wont cost them a penny they get the money back from the taxes they should pay on their profits live it kid you will have fucked the system

Yes, they will find you. My old roomate did not like to pay his bills and then moved abroad. One of the collections callers told me that he was writing me down as his co signer and his wife. I was more than happy to give them all of the info that they wanted- since the roomate was living with my husband and I for 2 years without getting a cent in rent.

If you are having any of your mail forwarded through the post office they can get your new address there too
