I dont have time to go to the bank to do it, and was wondering how safe it is online to apply for a credit card?
Im thinking of applying from one of the banks that I bank with.
My computer is all safe and that, how safe is the credit card web sites?
http://1mortgagecalculator.info

just make sure that it is a secure site- it will more than likely have a padlock in the lower right hand corner- indicating it is a secure site. if it doesn’t, DO NOT apply online.
If you see the web address go to
httpS:
then it SHOULD be secure.
For safety’s sake, just close out when done and clear your temporary cache and history and the odds of something bad happening are pretty low.
Most of them are safe. Make sure in the address it has an “S” after the http so it will read: https. Google the site you want to apply from. Do not use a link supplied from someone else.
Check out for listings of the best credit cards to apply for. You may end up saving thousands of dollars in interest charges by comparison shopping.
yes it is i did my two cards on line
not as safe as a bank
It’s safe, but if you are concerned, call the bank and apply over the phone.
Yeah, just make sure at the begining of the URL on the page that you enter your personal info on there is https rather than just http and look for the safety lock symbol on the right hand side. This means the web page is secure
