If the person doesn’t know you’re using it, that’s called fraud.

Nobody with a brain is going to let you use their credit card.

The person who owns the credit card is responsible for paying for what is charged on the card. Call the credit card company and tell them your needs….they might offer you one with a low credit card limit so you can do it legally. It’s really not a good idea to use other people’s credit cards…there are too many problems that would come up you never know what that person who owns it could say …accuse you of buying with it. I’d not take the chance. Some department stores are good at offering young people cards. Start calling the stores and banks or go in and talk to them in person. Good luck. SHORT ANSWER……….NO!
The long answer requires more details of your question. If the holder of the card gives you permission, and in some cases is required to give the credit card company pemission, then yes. In college, my dad gave me one of his oil company cards so i would always have gas…. no problem there. Later in life, a school registration accepted cards A and B only. My wife and I had cards C and D. The school did accept my father’s card A only with a written note from him.
SO, in general, if the card holder is aware and gives permission, usually no problems as long as the card company gets paid. That’s what they care about most !

If the person allows you to use it then it’s okay, but it’s still iffy just make sure it’s someone that your close to, because you might get in a fight then they could try and be shiesty and put you up for fraud.
