work part time and go to school part time but still living with my parents? how do i determine my total “household” income per yr?
NOTE*
my parents pay all the bills and expenses for the house but i pay for own bills in my name.

    If the card is for you, then you put down YOUR income. You do not include your parents income. It may ask you what your monthly mortgage is, or rent, in chich case you would put $0 if that is the case.

    Just tell them 8,000-10,000 you’ll still get the card but it will have a lower credit limit maybe 500-1000 dollars

    Your parents income is not yours. You need to use the amount on your W-2.
    If you are married then total household is you & your spouse if applying jointly.

    They are asking for your income – not expenses.

    If the credit card is in your own name and you are independently responsible for the monthly bill, you should put the income from the part-time job. If you ratchet up the debt, the credit card company can go after your income. You don’t want to drag your parents into it. Otherwise, if your parent co-apply, you can include their income — then they are responsible for the payment.
