Example: if I’m unemployed and say that I’m employed?
my friend did it and she’s freaking out now lol she hasn’t been employed for about 5 months now if that helps…
Some more questions would be if it will affect her applying for future cards or anything? Or will the company call/mail her anything accusing her of fraud?
Is there anything she can do? Like call the company and cancel the application?

The credit card company will check the information, find out that she lied, and deny her request.
One it can be constituted as fraud because there is a clause in there stating that you are completing the application truthfully. As of right now your friend is definitely going to get denied credit and her existing credit score is going to drop too about 10-20 points.
It does not matter much but if they check and you are not employed according to your social security number they may decline your application for a card. Thats all.
She’ll probably get a letter in the mail saying that she was denied because she is unemployed. Some types of fraud, however, can lead you to prison! Someone I know of had applied for cards under false names, and she was sent to prison for a year! But the unemployment thing, I don’t think anyone will take that nearly as seriously as false names or false Social Security numbers.
