Chase usually has some very good ones. I believe that they now have an option where you can choose your Chase card. Cash back, Disney Rewards if you have a family, GM points, etc. I currently have a 0% for life CHase card and the Disney rewards card. I’ve had wonderful customer service with them, too.

one where you don’t pay an annual fee

One where there is no annual fee and you will actually use the rewards. My experience has been when they get complicated, they change the program or I don’t use the rewards.

I have a Chase card that skips the tricks and give me 1% cash back each month and a Citicard that gives me 5% on Shell gas, which is located near my house and 1% on everything else. The credit is in Shell gas, but I don’t have trouble spending that much on gas, these days.

citi driver’s edge options gives 6% on gas, grocery, drug store for first year — after first year it is 3%. The cash can be only redeemed for auto repair/services or buying new car. It also has 1 cent per mile you drive – not a bad deal in this age of high food/gas prices

second one is chase freedom — gives 3%casback in top 3 categories. If you are patient to wait till you accumulate $200–it gives additonal $50 as bonus — equivalent to 3.7%cashback

American Express Starwood, hand down number one. You can use your rewards for anything, and it is the most generous out there. There was an article on msn.com today that jsut rated the rewards cards and this one was #1. You can see the card at and view the cards rewards in detail. Although most people think it is a hotel rewards card, you can use your points for anything. I highly recommend it. Oh yea. you earn 10000 point with your first purchase and you can transfer you point to the frequent flyer programs of over 30 airline at a 1:1 ratio. Most FF programs you have to use a specific airline. You have to click on American Express Cards from the above website to view.
