Lets say the minimum payment of your credit card is $20 and your outstanding balance is $500. I know that it is recommended to pay above the minimum payment. But if I want to build the most credit for a better credit score should I be paying the debt lets say $100 dollars a month or is it better to pay all $500 in one payment?

If you have the cash pay it off.

In terms of credit score paying $30 is no different than paying $40.
You’re better off paying the whole thing.
Some people insist that using the card makes your score go up. If you’re one of them, never let you’re balance exceed $100.
IMO, you’re best bet is to pay off the previous months closing balance.
